VISA

Only Australian passport holders do not need a visa to enter Australia. New Zealand passport holders can travel to Australia without a visa and obtain a visa on arrival at the airport.

All other passport holders need the right visa to come to Australia. You also need to get your visa before you travel to Australia. Citizens from some eligible countries can apply online for an eVisitor visa or an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) and, if lucky, may receive the visa grant notification by email a few minutes later automatically - but of course this depends on your precise circumstances.
